Night of performing arts in Nenagh!

This Saturday, March 4th, will see an array of local and national talent take to the stage in the Scouts Hall, Nenagh, for 'A Night of Performing Arts'.

The night has been organised to raise funds to send a team of seven students and two teachers from the Musical Theatre Academy Nenagh stateside to represent Ireland in the World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles this coming July.

A selection of singers, dancers and musicians will perform on the night, including Niamh Chadwick, award winning bass baritone Dylan Rooney, and AIMS award winning soprano Erica Flanagan. Group performances from Nenagh Choral Society, the Musical Theatre Academy Nenagh and the Ormond Octaves will ensure there is something for everyone on the night. Not forgetting our Irish roots, the Flynn O’Kane Academy of Irish Dance and the Lough Derg Trad group will give a traditional element to the two-act show.

Tickets can be purchased at the cost of €15 by calling 083-8821743 or at the Scouts Hall on Thursday between 5 and 9pm. Start time is 7.30pm with doors opening at 6.45pm. This is a performance definitely not to be missed!
