Ballina link with award-winning salon

The hair and beauty salon Brush ‘N’ Blush, which is run by Ballina’s Frances McCarthy and her daughter Maureen, picked up their second award in six months at the weekend.

 

The Tralee business won the Wedding Hair and Make-Up Salon of the Year-South West 2017 at The Irish Wedding Awards 2017, which were held in the Crowne Plaza, Dublin recently.

 

Maureen, Frances and the team at Brush ‘N’ Blush thanked their clients especially all the brides who came to the salon in 2016.

 

The award comes after the salon scooped Hair Salon of the Year – South West 2016 at the inaugural Irish Hair and Beauty Awards held in Dublin last September.

 

Sunday’s award is timely because the salon celebrates its third birthday with an open day, where staff gave advice on hair and to showcased their new range of products. Brush ‘N’ Blush are also up for the Connect Hair and Beauty Awards at the Rose Hotel on March 12th for ‘Hair Salon of the Year’, ‘Occasion Hair Upstylist’ and ‘Junior Stylist'.
