First Data to open Nenagh recruitment office

 

Local TD Alan Kelly has confirmed that First Data will be opening a new recruitment office in the town centre in Nenagh early in 2017.

 

This is in preparation for the opening of a new R&D facility in the town, on which it is expected that construction will commence in the coming weeks.

 

Deputy Kelly said: “I have been speaking with the senior executives in First Data constantly and a number of them have been to Nenagh again during November and December last year. The construction of the new facility will commence in the coming weeks. It will be a great milestone for the town to see this happening as we welcome one of the largest FinTech companies in the world to the Nenagh.

“Furthermore, the company has decided to open a recruitment office for the jobs in their new facility.

 

“They will be opening this office as well in a number of weeks and it will be town centre based so prospective candidates will be able to go and discuss all the opportunities that become available,” said Deputy Kelly.
