Painting and ceramics exhibitions at Nenagh Library

Both of our artists exhibiting at Nenagh Library this month are local people.

Noel O'Shea lives in Cloughjordan and Marina Postir now lives in Dromineer. Noel's exhibition is called 'Pictures of the Mind' because, although all of the places painted exist only in the artist's mind, they are so universal in their appeal that visitors are often convinced they know the actual landscapes painted.
Marina Postir, who runs ceramic and craft classes for both children and adults from her studio at Neddy's Cottage, Dromineer, is showing her collection of Christmas decorations and centre pieces in our glass cases for the month. Given that it is still only November and is the month for remembering departed loved ones, she has also included in this exhibition inscribed grave plaques. Rounding out her collection are some colourful and cheerful ceramic flowers for the garden.
Both artists will be with us for the month of November.
