Savage Dreams of Murder in Nenagh

One of Ireland’s most cutting edge comedians returns to The Kenyon in Nenagh with his brand new show – McSavage Dreams of Murder – this Friday night, October 14th.

Over the course of the show, McSavage looks at the benefits of yoga and his love for Daniel O’Donnell while he recounts tales of his own life with a level of honesty and acerbic observation; however, other people’s lives are not safe from his grasp either!

For example, in one story he mentions how he could never take his ex-wife seriously because of her high pitched accent, but on the other hand, if she sounded like Russel Crowe, he would do everything that she asked.

His truth-filled commentary and performance leave no stone unturned - No Cow is sacred… all will out when he dispatches his own verbal hand grenades.

Watch out for is his musical attack on the Catholic Church and in particular their handling of the Ferns Clerical abuse scandal.

McSavage also pokes fun at his own family in equal measure and their difficulty with accepting his alternative lifestyle, which broke both his mother and father’s heart, considering his siblings became lawyers and politicians.

Described by Joe Duffy as “Insulting to the people who paid the dwarf’s fee”, Dave McSavage is “humour tossed with anarchy and psychosis”, according to The Irish Times. “He makes me jealous”, said Mario Rosenstock.

Dave McSavage is live at The Kenyon in Nenagh on Friday October 14th with doors from 8.30pm.

Tickets are priced at €16 and can be purchased from both the Ormond Hotel and the Kenyon Bar. Support on the night comes from local comedian John Caplis.
