Stylish Sharon wins Keanes Jewellers Ladies Day at Limerick Racecourse

Sharon Kennedy originally from Clareview in Limerick but now living in Cork walked away with a €4,000 diamond pendant at Limerick Racecourse on Sunday last after winning the Keanes Jewellers Best Dressed Lady.

 

Sharon, who works in Human Resources, wore a stunning purple dress coat from Phoenix V Fashion Boutique Cork, her headpiece was from MARC Millinery and her shoes were from Penneys. Her handbag was from Mercury Goes Retrograde, a vintage shop in Cork.

 

“I was absolutely thrilled to win Best Dressed Lady especially in my home city of Limerick. There was amazing style and it was such a great day. I look forward to showing off my new jewellery from Keanes Jewellers”, Sharon commented on her win. 

 

Margaret Hynes Cahill, a Garda from Ardfert in Co. Kerry came in second place and won an Afternoon Style Session to include an outfit, headpiece and accessories sponsored by Aisling Maher Millinery and Boutique, Adare and a voucher for Serendipity Shoes, Adare and Limerick. Margaret wore a cerise jumpsuit from Jasmine Boutique, Tralee, Co. Kerry with matching cape and a black obi belt. Margaret completed her look with a black felt trilby hat with matching cerise accent and arrowhead detail with black pump shoes from LK Bennett, black leather gloves from Penneys and a vintage Burberry bag.

 

Mary O’Halloran, a consultant from Glasnevin in Dublin finished in third place and won a luxury hamper from Irish brand Inis – The Energy of the Sea. Mary wore a flaxen gold dress and jacket by Irish designer Marion Murphy Cooney complete with matching headpiece from Marie-Claire Millinery with shoes from Arnotts and accessories from Carrig Donn.

 

The ten finalists received a goody bag with a voucher for Keanes Jewellers, a voucher for Coqbull Limerick, Detox juices for Gasta Limerick, products from Inis and Forever Living products by Amy O’Mara. The finalists included Hannah Crosse from Kilfeacle in Co. Tipperary, Laura Hanlon from Roscommon, Niamh Ní Chorrigáin from Barna, Co. Galway, Tasha O’Connor from Templeglantine, Co. Limerick, Faith Amond from Co. Carlow, Emir O’Shea from Killorglin, Co.Kerry and Aoife O’Hanlon from Galway.

 

Ladies enjoyed a prosecco reception and a fashion show in the Fashion Dome which housed a number of boutique stands. Celia Holman Lee was MC of the fashion show which featured beautiful fashions from Aisling Maher Millinery and Boutique, Adare and popular blogger Lisa McGowan of Lisa’s Lust List had the tough task of judging the competition.
