Busy programme at Nenagh Library but author reading postponed

There are lots of activities taking place in Nenagh Library over the coming weeks. A planned event featuring author Donal Ryan, which was due to take place this Friday as part of Culture Night, has been postponed. However, the Newtown native will be launching his book at the Nenagh Bookshop in Friar Street next Tuesday, September 20th at 7pm.

Meanwhile, the September exhibition in Nenagh Library features a collection of paintings, landscapes, seascapes and portraits by Thurles-based artist, Michael Fogarty. Local woman Ann Ryan is continuing to show her delightful collection of knitted baby blankets for the month of September.

The month also sees a welcome return of all the clubs, including: Cuidiu, the Mother and Baby group - first and third Mondays of the month, 10.30am, afternoon adult book club - first Monday of the month, 2.30pm; Nenagh Friends of Music – first Tuesday of the month, 6.45pm and the Active Retirement Association – Thursday afternoons from 2 – 4.30pm.
