5K Charity Run/Walk in aid of Pieta House

Three Transition year students of St. Mary's Secondary School, Nenagh, have organised a 5k charity run as part of the Transition Year Mini-company programme.

Lara Smyth, Lily Purcell and Eimear Meaghar have set up their non-profit mini-company, “Reach”, in aid of the suicide prevention centre Pieta House.

 The 5k walk/run which will take place this Saturday, May 21st and will begin at the Eire Óg GAA Grounds at 3pm. Registration for this event will begin from 2pm onwards with an entrance fee of; €7 for adults, €5 for child/OAP and €20 for families (2 adults, 2 children). Special guest on the day will be Tipperary hurling captain, Brendan Maher.
