Further road closures announced in Nenagh and M7
Tipperary Co Council has given notice of further street closures in Nenagh this month, and on the M7 motorway in June.
Kenyon Sreet is to be closed in three stages from Monday May 23rd to Friday August 12th, between 6am each Monday until midnight each Friday, to facilitate the laying of sewers, gas and water mains.
The stages include: Railway Roundabout to Stafford Street junction; Stafford Street junction to Kenyon Street Car Park; Kenyon Street Car Park to Market Cross.
A specific diversion plan will apply to HGV traffic accessing and egressing Stafford Street Lower. Emergency and pedestrian access will be provided at all times. Collection and deliveries will be facilitated.
Meanwhile the eastbound and westbound lanes of the M7 are to be closed between Junction 26 and Junction 27 from Tuesday June 7th to Saturday June 11th and Monday June 13th to Friday June 17th to facilitate full bridge joint repairs on the Kilmastulla River Bridge.
