Nenagh Players' annual one-act plays

Nenagh Players present their annual one-act plays on April 28th, 29th and 30th in Dún Mhuire at 8pm each evening.

Two plays will be performed by the group and it gives an opportunity for new actors and actresses to whet their appetite for treading the boards. First-time director Kevin Whelan presents a hilarious comedy set in a trailer park where some local rednecks discuss the merits of Shakespeare with some devastating results.

We welcome two new additions to our group in Kevin Prout, who has just completed a very successful run with the Nenagh Choral Society production of 'Guys & Dolls', and Maggie Smith, who is performing with the Players for the first time.

Jim Minogue presents a thought-provoking play set in a taxidermist shop with Mike McMahon playing the lead and the youthful Calvin O'Rourke, who takes on a huge roll in this brilliant and well-scripted piece.

Please come early as seats are limited and there will be tea and biscuits provide between each play. A night not to be missed.
