First Data briefing in Nenagh

Representatives of First Data, the US company that is planning to create 300 jobs in Nenagh, will hold a briefing session at the Abbey Court Hotel this Tuesday evening, February 9th, at 6.30pm.
The company recently announced its plans to set up a research & development facility at an existing vacant building at the Stereame Retail Park. It is the first foreign direct investment in North Tipperary for 30 years.
First Data Executive Vice President Tom Higgins is to attend this evening's meeting at the Abbey Court Hotel for an informal 'meet & greet' with the people of Nenagh.
Nenagh based Minister for Environment, Community & Local Government Alan Kelly played a key role in attracting First Data to Nenagh. He said this evening's meeting would be an opportunity for local business people and members of the community in general to welcome the company executive to Nenagh. Minister Kelly pointed out that First Data plans to create a minimum of 300 jobs here in 2017 with the likelihood of more to follow in future years.
Mr Higgins will discuss why the global payment technology solutions company chose to come to Nenagh. Light refreshments will be served.
