Its north tipp show time

The 138th annual North Tipperary Agricultural Show is being held on Bank Holiday Monday, August 3rd.
This long standing tradition in Tipperary can hardly be rivaled with. Many of your parents, grandparents and even their grandparents will have attended at some point in the 138 years of history. Through tough times and good times, the show has survived.
Although essentially an agricultural show with the reliable stalwarts remaining unchanged, the show has evolved to become a special day out. So come and meet the neighbours and put August 3rd in your diary for an authentic experience, and the kettle will be on!
A great show has been planned again this year, with a bucking bronco, chocolate fountain, birds of prey display, chainsaw sculpting, willow weaving, Giant Shoe slide, dog show, live music, and lots more joining the core attractions of cattle, sheep, poultry, horse and pony showing classes and show jumping.
There are competitions for the best floral displays, photography, art, baking, cooking, needlework, fruit and vegetable produce. There will also be a children’s corner with bouncy castles and more, and there will be a 'chocolate square' selling all sorts of wonderful goodies to the young and not so young.
As usual, there will be a wide variety of trade stands selling an excellent range of interesting goods. The show provides entertainment to farming and family people and is a great local attraction on the Bank Holiday Monday. And anyone who wants to volunteer their help on the day would be most welcome.
