Information night for bereaved parents in tipperary

Anam Cara, a national organisation providing support services to bereaved parents and families, is hosting a bereavement information night at the Horse & Jockey Hotel next Monday, February 23rd.
The group is inviting bereaved parents and families from all over Tipperary to attend this event. Anam Cara holds monthly meetings at Horse & Jockey as a central location for people to attend from around the county.
This free service has seen a huge increase in the number of parents turning to it for support. Last year it noted an 80% increase in uptake; it was on hand for more than 90 Tipperary mums and dads in 2014.
Anam Cara is a voluntary organisation that connects parents who have experienced the death of their child through the likes of suicide, road traffic accidents, Sudden Adult Death Syndrome and serious illness. This it does through monthly peer support groups, bereavement information evenings, and other forums.

Anyone interested in attending next Monday is asked to RSVP to info@anamcara.ie before this Friday, February 20th, or call 01 4045378/085 2888 888. Anam Cara does not charge fees or seek donations from parents. For more see www.anamcara.ie.
