Meeting of tipperary integration forum

Calling all people of all countries and cultures living in Tipperary: A Tipperary Integration Forum meeting takes place at 5pm on Friday, January 23rd in Nenagh Arts Centre. All are welcome!

This is a networking opportunity to share ideas on current issues for migrant groups and meet local agencies. Refreshments served. For more information contact Karolina on 085-2762785, kwoznicka@ntlp.ie or simply PM us on Facebook.

TIF is a response to increasing diversity and the growing immigrant population in Tipperary. The forum was established in 2013 by North Tipperary County Council as a part of the Integration Strategy (2013-2014). It is supported by the North Tipperary Leader Partnership, which is hosting the forum this year.

Our objective is to facilitate immigrants and service providers from Co Tipperary coming together on a regular basis, give voice to these communities and offer practical supports to people from immigrant backgrounds. We offer advice and support, facilitating access to various services in Tipperary. TIF also offers free English conversation classes (Fáilte Isteach) – this is a space for people to practice and improve their language skills, increase their confidence. Also an opportunity to meet new people and have a chat in a friendly and very informal atmosphere.

TIF public meetings are an opportunity for people of all countries and cultures living in Tipperary to meet, to listen about TIF projects, activities and what’s going on locally. They are an opportunity to take an active part in creating an integrated future for our county.
