Death of former tipperary councillor dan moylan from nenagh

The death occurred on Monday of Dan Moylan, a former Fine Gael member of North Tipperary County Council.

Mr Moylan, who lived and farmed at Rathnaleen, is  father of Tommy, who served for many years as a Fine Gael member of the former Nenagh Town Council.

Mr Moylan's remains will be reposing at Ryan's Funeral Home in Nenagh on this Wednesday from 4pm, with removal at 7pm to arrive at St. Mary's of the Rosary Church, Nenagh, at 7.30pm. His Requiem Mass will be on Thursday at 10am, followed by burial in Lisboney Cemetery.

Mr Moylan is survived by his wife Anne, daughters Pauline, Bridget, Marita, Anne-Marie and Jennifer and his sons John and Tommy.   He is also survived by his sisters  Phil and Josephine; brother, John, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Tipperary Fine Gael TD Noel Coonan described Mr Moylan as a 'gentleman of politics'. 'He was a dedicated public representative with a kind nature who was well liked by those he represented.'
