Nenagh players to stage cripple of inishmaan

Martin McDonagh’s dark comedy “The Cripple of Inishmaan” will be performed by The Nenagh Players from Tuesday 4th to Saturday November 8th in The Nenagh Arts Centre and directed by Jim Minogue. London born McDonagh has been hugely successful and popular with world audiences for many years with his uniquely wacky portraits of Irish life in plays such as “The Beauty Queen of Leenane”, “The Lonesome West” and “A Skull in Connemara”. The most recent production of “The Cripple” recently closed a successful run on New York’s Broadway following an extended showing in London’s West End starring Pat Shortt in the role of Johnnypateenmike and Daniel Radcliffe in the title role as crippled Billy Claven.
