Sme award for nenagh company

Nenagh's Adsmart is one of 63 companies acknowledged for their contribution to enterprise and innovation across the island of Ireland.

They were awarded 'Business Ambassador' status by InterTradeIreland at a special event held in the Mansion House in Dublin. The event was hosted by Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD.
 
Every county in Ireland was represented by the Business Ambassadors, who were nominated as companies that had successfully embraced innovation; developed new cross-border markets or secured venture capital with InterTradeIreland's support. Representing the full spectrum of industries, the 63 companies have generated approximately €20 million in additional business value to the Irish economy so far.

Speaking at the event Tomas Ryan, MD, Adsmart said: 'The support received through InterTradeIreland programmes has been essential for our business development opportunities in the Northern Irish market. Through InterTradeIreland's support we could afford to hire a new employee who was a great asset to the organisation.'
 
He added: 'To be an InterTradeIreland Ambassador is an honour. It also means Adsmart can now let other businesses in Tipperary know about the supports that are in place to expand into the lucrative Northern market. Hopefully we can continue to grow our business in Northern Ireland. And this can be taken as motivation to other Tipperary business to explore this worthwhile marketplace.'
