110 chairs sponsored at nenaghs scouts hall

Nenagh Choral Society launched its fundraising initiative for the Scouts Hall in August this year and this week it has reached 110 chairs sponsored at the hall out of its target of 500 chairs.
Ger McCarthy, chairperson of the society, stated that he is thrilled with the response from the public. We have 390 chairs to go but with the fantastic support from the people of Nenagh and the wider community we will reach our target.
We plan to acknowledge this support by means of a 'Chair Sponsors Plaque', which we will place in the foyer of the Scouts Hall for all to see, once we have achieved the target of 500 chairs.

Ger also stated that the refurbishment of the Scouts Hall is going according to plan and will be ready to host the youth musical ('Phantom of the Opera'), which commences on October 31st for three nights. Tickets will go on sale in the Scouts Hall from Thursday 23rd October.
The Scouts Hall will now be a new, modern fit-for-purpose auditorium, and has been designed with the community in mind. The hall will officially be opened in January 2015.
Michael Cormack (Treasurer of the Society) also stated that he is extremely pleased with the level of support received from the major sponsors along with patrons and chair sponsors. To date, we have received over €25,000 from the three categories and we have a target of €70,000. You can see the amount raised on the barometer outside the Scouts Hall.
The funds will be used to furnish and kit out the hall to a high spec, with obviously comfort and functionality in mind. As indicated before, all our sponsors will be acknowledged by means of three 'Plaques' that will be placed in the foyer and will forever show the generosity of the organisations, individuals and families that have donated to this incredible project.
If you would like to be associated with this project you can do so using the form below and be forever associated with the resurrection of 'The Scouts Hall'.
