Burglaries and thefts in nenagh area

Gardaí in Nenagh are investigating a burglary that occurred in Ardcroney on the afternoon of Wednesday last. Entry was gained through a rear window and a sum of cash was taken.
The incident was reported at 4.20pm. Two teenagers were seen hiding in a neighbour's back garden and are suspected of being involved.
Another burglary occurred at Arravale, Newtown last Wednesday. The occupant returned home around midnight and observed a male in the kitchen. The intruder fled the scene. He is described as being 5ft 11 and wore a leather jacket and jeans. No damage was caused and nothing was taken from the house.
There was a burglary at Yewston estate in Nenagh on Friday last. The house was ransacked and a quantity of jewellery was taken. The incident was reported at 9pm. Garda enquiries are ongoing.
Meanwhile a sum of cash was stolen from a cashbox at a hostel in Cloughjordan last Wednesday night/Thursday morning.
And some time between Saturday and Monday last a copper cylinder and sink were removed from a vacant house at Bealacare, Rearcross.
